NotaryPro Academy — Accessibility Statement Last Updated: June 14, 2026
Our Commitment
NotaryPro Academy is committed to ensuring that our website and online courses are accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We believe that everyone who is eligible for a California notary commission should be able to access quality notary education, regardless of ability.
We are actively working to make notaryproacademy.com and our course platform conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.
Current Status
We are in the process of evaluating and improving the accessibility of our website and course platform. Our current efforts include:
- Ensuring course videos are captioned or include transcripts
- Providing text alternatives for non-text content
- Ensuring the site is navigable by keyboard without a mouse
- Maintaining sufficient color contrast for text readability
- Ensuring that form fields and interactive elements are labeled for screen reader compatibility
- Structuring course pages with proper heading hierarchy
Known Limitations
We are aware that some areas of our platform may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. These include:
- Some older course video content may not yet have full closed captions
- The identity verification upload process may present challenges for some users with motor disabilities
- Some third-party platform elements (provided by TutorLMS/WordPress) may have accessibility limitations beyond our immediate control
We are working to address these limitations and will update this statement as improvements are made.
